And frolicking will be the order of the day Oct. 9 when we welcome The Lonely Forest AS THEY KICK OFF their North American Tour, right here, in Wenatchee at Caffe Mela.
So yeah, it’s kind of a big deal…
But it was purely due to dumb luck (or bad luck, if you’re Jon Van Deusen) that we got this critically-acclaimed band to play in Wenatchee to kick off the tour for their fifth album.
The Anacortes-based garage-born indie-rock band was originally booked to headline the season finale of our Summer Concert Series in Centennial Park we produced with the City of Wenatchee. But the lead singer, John Van Deusen, was laid low with a prolonged visit to the E.R..
But now he’s back in action and The Lonely Forest is ready to rock Wenatchee, as only a PNW-incepted rock band truly can…
